DELVE

A space of monument within the Tiber's Embankment wall, Delve was completed at the conclusion of a study session in Rome, Italy. This project was studied, developed, and drafted by hand- a risk taken to emphasize the physical impact of reconstruction on a historic site.

The cave-like space carved into the embankment serves as a museum on the cultural and industrial history of Rome's ancient waterways and systems. During seasons of high rain, the space will flood, restricting access.
