About

Josephine Boynton has lived in 14 houses, 8 states and 12 cities. It was these homes and places- and the common factors or distinct differences between them- that led her to a career in architecture. These frequent transitions taught her the value of space and the varieties of "place".

She embarks on daily journeys to curate the spaces around her. On a small scale this can look like painting on the walls or custom sewing a set of curtains. On a large scale this means designing libraries, cafes, bus stations, bathrooms, etc. that feed the human hunger for art and quality we all yearn for.

A self-acclaimed lover of light and servant of shadow, she believes design is born when old meets new and people value perception.
